My Story

My name is Diane and I came from a big family, although I grew up all around the United States of America. My father was an Army Sargent. I loved my childhood days of moving every 2 years. Had a chance to see many places and cities among lot of interesting people. Met a lot a different types shapes or form of people. Learn how to speak other languages while living on the military bases. My mother had 9 children and 1 older brother died before I was born. That makes me the 3rd child and the 1st girl in the family. After my Father died, we lived in Colorado Springs. I loved out there, but the military sent us to my home town of Shelbyville, Indiana. I went to public schools and then graduated then went on to Indiana Business College out of Indianapolis, IN. Major was Accounting with an Associtate Degree. Soon after leaving there I met my 1st husband and the company he was working in, he had asked if he could see if his future wife could work there as well. I hired in as a Secretary for 5 men..after working a year, I was able to bid on something more than just typing for these 5 guys. I was able to get into the Accounting Department. As Accounts payable clerk and a few years later I was promoted to a Payroll Analysis work up to 15 years and decided I wanted to resign early and branch off to something more passion. I then went to another college took up Phlebotomy got a certificate to drawl blood and to also give shots. I start realizing that I really didn't want to be a Register Nurse, so I started out working as a Certified Nurse Aide. I believe that was the place for me, I felt a lot of compassion for these people as I went to Nursing Homes and work a while to get a field of how to do for all kinds of illness, I worked at a few hospitals and later I found out I enjoyed working going to there own home. That's where I had a one on one with the care for the people and caring, understanding, fixing there meals, taking to doctor appointments or just be a companion to them they really love me being around helping people.
This was my story how I got to this point.
Thank you for reading about me.
