Why I started the Ketogenic diet and my change
Hi Everyone. This is my very first blog on WA and would love to share the motivation of why I choose to go for the Keto lifestyle so to explain why I will work on this as my niche.
I was always suffering from dizziness of low blood sugar or blood concussion. This came from my dad and which is defined as high risk to diabetes.
To be honest, I was not aware of this till I met Dr. Berg who's a very professional doctor in the specialty of ketogenic diet.
My awareness toward the risk to pre-diabetes prompted me to dig out the details and to study the possible benefits and threats of the Keto lifestyle. Although I'm not from the medical background, I'm very lucky to have my mum who's a certified nurse, a nursing teacher that allows me to have more knowledge in the medical sector during my growth. I learnt about how to correctly using medication, what's the better health index, how to eat healthily and a lot more.
(even understand how to do injection? Haha)
From self-study and doing much research, I've decided to give a trial to myself (and my dad, it's always better to have someone as a company to stick to one thing right?) and immediately I've experienced the powerful benefits of the Keto lifestyle.
I am not only getting rid of vertigo but also losing 7 kg/ 15.5lb in just 4 months without any "diet" or "starvingness". (pls note that my starting point was not crazy high so if you're in a higher number, you can definitely have better results)

Awesome, Diana. I've been one who has struggled with my weight since I left school and so, I would love to know more about the Keto Diet.
It's been hard for me to try and eat healthy but with working at my job, my online business, taking care of the house and cooking on a daily basis (my hubby comes from a background with a lot of rice and curry and fried foods), it's hard to have the extra time to cook something different for myself.
We are now on vacation together and we are talking about changing both our diets when we go back home. It definitely helps when you're doing the diet with somebody rather than on your own.
