Diving in !

OK, so here I am in the WA community, having just paid my monthly premium fee. I had been working as a software developer from 1989 until early 2015, when my role was made redundant. After 26 or so years working in the finance sector, my passion for 'climbing the corporate ladder' had waned considerably. Upon being made redundant, I landed a job as a baggage handler at the local international airport. This has been, by far, the most enjoyable workplace in my entire working life. There is something truly special (almost sacred) about being on the tarmac, loading and unloading baggage, freight, and pets. Furthermore, I just love working alongside my colleagues, some of whom are now soulmates. Granted, not everyone can get along with everyone, but that's how the world turns.

For a few years, I have made some half-hearted attempts at looking at ways to create a revenue stream using the internet. However, about a month ago, I came to the realisation that if I want to create that revenue stream, if I want to buy that Trek Madone 9.5 for my son, if I want to author my own success story, then I will have to immerse myself into WA.

I will continue to eat, live, think, drink and sleep WA during my working hours, for it is only through passion and commitment that we can truly achieve success. I am confident that my journey, and yours, will be a fulfilling experience, and hopefully a highly profitable one too ! :)
