Hi - once you have purchased your domain, it is entirely your choice as to what you do with it. It is not compulsory to use it for affiliate marketing.

Amazon has something called one link where you can get commissions from any country that participates in the amazon associates.
you get the code and insert it into your site header.
You will also need to sign up for both the UK and USA and any other countries individually and then link them all up for this to work.
Hello from Nottingham! What you need to do, is to sign up for both Amazon UK and Amazon.com (or as many countries as you want). You then use the Amazon OneLink tool. This ensures that when somebody clicks your link, they get taken to the correct Amazon for their country and you then get the commission.
Remember, with Amazon, you need to get 3 sales within 180 days, which is not easy until you start getting traffic to your site.
