Progress So Far
First let me say thank you to everyone for the community spirit and a warm welcome. That's an added piece that helps aid in success just as much as the courses themselves.
Two weeks in I'm happy with my progress so far, but definitely not satisfied. http://handpaintedabstracts.com I came out the gate fast putting up posts, but slowed myself down to really understand how I should lay out the site more.
1) My next plans are to build a Root Keyword Page for "Abstract Canvas Artwork"
2) Add a "Tips" page
3) Implement ads
4) More posts for low hanging fruit
The unknown for me is how soon should I rank? I see this as being a source of income for a long time so it's not a race for me, but at the same time budget's getting tighter!

I was like you - I got over excited and ran away ahead of the lessons. But I have slowed down and I'm doing things at the pace set out for me. After all, they know what they're doing :) I wish you all the best with your site, which is very interesting by the way!! Jyl.
Davin, I think your progress is inspiring for others. It took me awhile to get up and running. I was so excited when I actually started making money. Pace was very important for me and making sure that I do at least 3 things everyday to make my site stand out. Talk later!
