Mobile integration is of paramount importance!
This is something crucial I'd like to share with you. After launching my website zpowerhosting.com, I've made an unpleasant discovery - 20% traffic is coming from mobile devices (which is good), but the website was rated as mobile unfriendly in several categories (which reduces ranking - not good). To add more salt on the wound - 13 pages were rated so (I don't think there was any well rated).

This information was available via 2 sources - Google Analytic and Google Webmaster Tool. First one provided statistics, the second - sent me a kind letter with list of mistakes on the site. Makes you think and wakes you up even when everything seems ok.
The conclusion is simple - it must and will be fixed asap. 20% visitors are huge part of traffic, missing it is unacceptable. Even though it can seem, that a web hosting site's order and payment system isn't really tailored for mobile devices - that's not an excuse to let these warnings slide.
Also it's worth mentioning, that there are tons of tools and software that is designed to automate most processes, make any task easier and more productive, save time. Yet they are totally unknown or even neglected by majority of people. Some of them work like sorcery (at least seemed that way to me first time using it) - such great results it yields and so much time saves.
So guys, be different, try new stuff, look for tools - it pays off. I'm sure you know that!

I don't think anyone should be developing sites that are not responsive ( automatically adjust according to the size of the screen or mobile device) these days.
People of all ages, not just the young but also the young at heart are using mobile devices. I know a number of our more senior citizens who are using tablets because they are just easier for a spot of web browsing.
Ignoring this fact is just ignoring the market and accepting the inevitable reduction in business opportunities.
I can't see the trend declining anytime soon.
Thanks for the info, you're right 20 % is a lot of traffic. Wouldnt want to be losing it
