Is it organic?

I was making a research for my marketing campaign. Mostly tags, keywords, new ideas of keyword combinations, trying to get into the head of people who will search and make them find my site. While doing so I have discovered a new term - "organic" marketing.

Ok... What's next? Vegan banners and environment friendly headers? Seemed that it's another catchy name for something that was around from the dawn of internet. If somebody is also new to the term, glutenfri organic marketing is SEO in a nutshell - using social media, keywords, code/meta/tags and other vegetarian natural long term processes to increase traffic. In other words - opposite to Adwords. PPC = synthetic artificial, short term traffic boost.

Conclusion - if you want a logo with bean sprouts, don't go for paid advertising!

Another very interesting thing was key words that people use. I will take a game phrases an example. My niche is "turn based strategy card game + multiplayer", so I based all my texts around this concept. What I didn't think of - another aspect of the product, that might be appealing to potential users:

• free to play,
• great soundtrack (for me, who always turns sound off its a biggy),
• female character,
• family friendly (that's a huge one!),
• short single battle
• player ranking system (it's important for someone),
• cartoony characters, stylized (they even google for style preferences),
• hex grid (and layout..).

All of them are way out of my initial keyword set! I should have camera filming my face at these moments - sure will get viral with my facial expressions.
So this is another reminder to think before acting, think from various angles, because there is infinity of ways you can rephrase something or find how it can be appealing from another's point of view.
