Wow! my website on google first page Thanks WA
Hi everyone, this is designerman this is my picture draping a skirt set on the dress form. I retired Dolly.
Wow I finally buckled down and worked on my website this past weekend and got to publish it last night at 11:15 pm. almost immediately after I published it. believe it or not it actually showed up in the 6th position on one of Google's 1st pages I was so excited. There is still a lot of work to do on it,so I am definitely going to be asking for help on this. So if you would like to see it, go to Google search and type in fashion tossed salad it is the 6th one down www.fashiontossedsalad.com I still can't believe I built this thing. I welcome comments on the site or advise if any body has any. So take a look at it let me know what you think.

The Aqua and Green font on black is OK.. doesn't bug me. The site looks pretty good and it seems much nicer than it was 2 weeks ago. Keep up the good work Robert, the improvements to your site are great.
thanks Lis. I had to get off the social end of this and buckle down and do some work. I still want to help people, but I think I would be more help when I learn this and start making money, Right
Totally agree. It is very easy to lose sight of why we joined due to getting too involved with the community and not concentrating on our own website developments.
I have started allocating an hour to community and the rest of my time to my websites and learning. Plus the fact I am back at work from tonight so I also need to buckle down and concentrate.
Good news and congrats. Having trouble opening your link but I am working from my ipad, maybe that's why. Will check it out on my laptop shortly.

I really like the "Where did fashion come from" paragraph font. The aqua is better for the color but still hard on the eyes. I feel like this font is the easiest to read with this color though. I love the name also, I am having so much trouble with a name!
Hi there we did change all the red out and decided to use the font travelhacker suggested to use which is Helvetica. Do any of you know how to split column's on this home page I want to permanently leave this post up but able to put others in. As for the name first of all every name I come up with somebody has a duplicate I use to have a name Boka fashions thought it was one of a kind but it wasn't. We have another website out there someone built, which we named fashion onward and beyond and it to was all over the place on the internet. This time I was bound and determined I was going to have something original. The actual meaning is if you think of a salad there are all kinds of items in it even dressings, bacon, crotons and etc. So what is fashion all kinds of ideas, clothing, makeups , colors, male and female, and shoes and so on. So in a sense of the word salad it is all tossed together to serve the purpose of fashion.

Nice website, but i think i have to agree with lrharting on this one - colors on black are pretty harsh on the eyes. it takes a few seconds for my eyes to adjust and then i gotta focus real hard just to read what should be easy reading. i love the idea but wonder if perhaps you can stick to white on black, maybe making a select few words red and green. or maybe even just changing the font so that it is not bold will make a difference... Just my thoughts as a potential site visitor... As of now, i don't think i would come back anytime soon - my eyes are just too sensitive...
Also what's with some of the menu options being all CAPS and some not?
On a happier note, kudos to you for ranking so well so fast! Way to go man :-)
Hi I changed the color to aqua and used 8 different fonts here please tell me which one is better for your eyes i just did the home page for now

I prefer the last paragraph font - the "How is fashion inspired?" paragraph. Second choice would be "What is the true meaning of fashion?" paragraph.

I like your website and all the photos! Can I make a suggestion? The red on black and green on black kind of make my eyes freak out. I love the color scheme you have going on though, and I love how it ties into the background salad image.
Thanks the salad image is why we are using these colors. The whole idea is to create a new kind of online shopping experience through a fashion designers perspective.

Why not go simple, with a white background.....that has always been appealing no matter what topic you are trying to sell.
Thanks for the suggestion but I tried looking at it on a white background I personally did not like it. but then again I don't like white that much I don't even like white T shirts. But thanks
