Do battle with procrastination with accountability. If you have a moment, give this a read... A Formula for Success...
I did read it and I sincerely do not think that I will be procrastinating anytime soon. If I do, well I now know whose story I could turn to, to get back on track. Thank you for your wonderful post.
I don't I put off worrying about it until later. heh heh. seriously. I am having that problem right now. I have an idea for an article I want to write but I seem to be experiencing a bit of writers block. Now the best way I deal with writers block is to dive right in and just start writing and eventually I will hit a groove. However today I am convincing myself that I just need a little break. You know to free my mind So even though I am not writing my article I am trying to be constructive by being active here in the community which helps me in my delusion of believing I am "working" despite the writers block. I don't really have a set schedule but that's just me. So I just make myself do it and get it over with. Just like making myself go to work if I don't feel like it. Treat this as a job. Full or part time. Doesn't matter. Just grit your teeth and get down to business. That is how I handle it
The way I deal with procrastination when It comes to my online business is to think of it as my business. What I mean by that is!, my reason for creating a website in the first place.
Put a poster up as a daily reminder.
Create a schedule that you can stick to, so you can work on your business regularly and still get on with everything else in your life.
Don't look at this as a hobby. If you really want to succeed. You need to change your mindset and think of yourself as I business owner who is helping others through the website that you are creating.
Hope this helps.
Lis.
So true....i have found it hard to keep up with work, study for various exams and then keep on writing quality contents...but you are right there is no other way to go about it , you gotta keep a tight schedule.
Hey Blabla5361,
It's hard to think that you're having trouble dealing w/ procrastination when you have such a beautiful site put together! I just took a quick peek at it and it looks like you are well on your way to success in the online world!
One thing to keep in mind is that your are doing what you LOVE to do! It's hard to be lazy when you are doing something that you truly are excited about.
Think of this process as a road to master of one's self! The only way that you acheive self mastery is to get on the path and STAY on it.
Some days will be tougher than others but 1. Always do your best 2. Dont make assumptions (ask questions and lots of them!) 3. Don't take anything personal (it is only all a process). 4. Honor your word (Don't make a commitment to anything that you are unsure of achieving)
Stick to those 4 agreements and life will be easier when it comes to getting out of that rut and plodding ahead in this wonderful winding road we call life :) Best wishes to all of your success in 2015!!!

Members how do you deal with procrastination?
Help
I'll get back to you on that later ....
Okay seriously - For me setting and writing down a schedule helps. I love the WordPress post scheduling feature for this. Not only do I know I'm going to have a post for every day of the week (I post daily) but I know what they are going to be on and I have the drafts started and scheduled a week in advance (sometimes they are even written by then). Seeing all those drafts waiting reminds me of my commitment to myself and my readers.
Ha...I'll try that approach. Could you please elaborate onthe Wordpress post scheduling feature? Where and how do I find this?
When you create a post in the side bar in the 'publish' section you will see a line that reads Publish immediately Edit
Click on Edit
Change it to the date and time you want to set it for publishing (yes you can even be evil and backdate posts)
Click okay
the line will change to Schedule for: followed by the date and time you set.
You will also notice that the button changes from post to schedule
I think it's also supposed to set it to automatically publish at the time set but I can't seem to get that feature to work.
Ok got it...it sorts of forces you to stick to your own deadlines. Very good tip. Thanks Rebecca

how can I create a forum on my website?
Hello everyone,
I am trying to create a forum where my subscribers could post topics that would be replied to by other subscribers. Almost like this dashboard , but something simpler. Check out longhairforum.com for an example of what I'm talking about. Thanks.
Man, I wish I knew. I found a forum plug-in. I activated it. And now I am not sure exactly what to do with it. Have you found an answer?

Omg, anyone noticed how addictive WA can be? It's like the facebook of online entrepreneurs...I should go to bed but here I am checking the replies, the comments, the posts, the
I do have to agree. Less drama, helpful ppl, you can trust that stuff in here is true.....Yeah much better than FB
Yes, I've noticed the addiction aspect of WA, too! I'm thinking of starting a group but then realized, I don't want to moderate my WA addiction...!
HAhah I've come to realize the same thing. I actually like WA better than facebook. Too much useless junk on facebook.
I guess this is that time when addiction ends up being a good thing right?
I'm a forum addict too, so this place doesn't help much. And feel some sympathy for me please - I get up at 6.00 every morning, and due to time zones most of you don't turn up for a further 6 hours. I have to use the time to do real work. Meh!
YEP! I stayed up till 4am one night (morning) . Another time I went to bed about 1am and got up at 4am. Perhaps a good niche would be sleeping pills????? Hmmm! THX Larry freedom4us
