Congratulations on becoming Premium...you will find a wealth of great people and information here at WA :)

Hi Denisse, congratulations for going premium. I'm glad you came on board. Keep your excitement burning and continue with what you have already started. Feel free to get in touch. You will definitely get the support you need as you go along with your journey. Blessings ~Betcha

Way to go Denisse!!! You may not realize it but writing one of these blogs or commenting on another's comment or work here is actually practice for you in creating content. These skills prove to you that successful writing is not something that you are either born with or not, but a skill that you can practice and get better with over time. Anyone can become a great writer.

I was a musician for the Army for six years. I played clarinet flute and saxophone. I did not become a good musician by not practicing. You could ask my parents; I was not very good when I first started and the sounds coming from my clarinet sounded more like a goose in distress, but I got better with practice. Okay, I will get off my soapbox now. LOL. Keep going! Dave.

Thank you Dave! I agree with you. Your story just made me more inspired :) One of the things I want to get better at is expressing myself through my writing. I am so much better in person but I know this a beautiful opportunity for me to develop this skill. Thank you for encouraging me to continue on this path. ✌️

Hi Denisse, Thank you for the kind words. For me writing is a lot like talking only it is on paper. If you go back and read something that you have written out loud, it should flow and work as if you were having a conversation with someone. If it seems forced or does not make sense or it does not have a natural pulse to it then it needs some attention. Unless you are writing something technical, then you would not use grandiose verbiage unless that is how you speak normally. (In which case you would not be the life of the party). LOL.

I use a program called Dragon Naturally Speaking. This program allows you to speak into a microphone and the program will type out what you are saying into a word program. It takes a little bit to set this up but it is a smart program and adapts to your voice and style. It gets it right better than 95% of the time and it is a great time saver. You can also carry a recording device with you that syncs with this program so whenever inspiration strikes or you see something that you want to save, you can just speak and it records. You can then download it to your computer and it types it out at a much faster speed then you can type. I type 70 WPM and this is much faster. Talk to you soon. Dave.
