If you write or create anything in the world, I bet you have this thought at least once.

Darn it, I was going to write about that.

I was going to talk about that.

I was going to make that.

This happens to all of us, we see a blog post, a movie or a book that comes out, with the exact same kind of topic we wanted to express. Or maybe you have heard about it or read about it, and you want to write about it too, but you stop yourself because you feel like there is no room for you.

Its all been covered by someone more experienced or someone more famous or more articled.

Well, today I want to you to look closely at that paralyzing motion, and I want to show you why it is total garbage. No matter how many times an idea is been expressed or shared in the world, sometimes it just takes that one moment or that one person expressing it in their voice for it to actually to get through, and you are that person for somebody, so don´t get this idea that it´s all been said, it´s all been done before. Do not let this idea stop you before you even begin.

Know this, you can make any topic, or any idea in your head, by remixing it with your personality your story and your voice. It's coming from you, could be that tipic point for someone to say, I finally get it, that's it, I am doing it.

And if you never again want this to stop you again, you can remember this " It doesn´t have to be brand new, it just has to come from you".

That its all been said before and done, and you want to express your own ideas in your own words and your own unique way. You will have to pay attention to your intuition, your gut feeling, that inner voice that speaks only to you, and trust yourself, that you have a unique voice in the world and nobody is going to say it or do it like you.

Here are 4 action steps to take to step into the gut feeling train:

1. Go on a historical gig

I want you to look through your mental files folders of your past, remember a situation when all went wrong, and you said to yourself "I knew it" when it all fell apart.

It might have been a relationship that went wrong or a business deal that just turned sour. I bet if you really look there, were some red flags that you missed. You probably dismissed them because you didn't have proof. Just take an instant and think those moments from your past, that you had that funny feeling and it turned out to be true.

You know why because, when you have a gut feeling in the past, you will pay more attention to it in the present.

2. Meditate

You know why most us dought listening to our intuition, its because our minds are filled up with self-doubt, questions, and it clouds our mind, to hearing what it really says.

Meditation is one of the most powerful practices, that you can use to quiet your mind. You might not think you are the meditating type like you thought you weren't the gut feeling person type, if you want to get the gut feeling tickling in your ears, try to mediate, even 5 minutes a day, makes all the difference.

3. Search for your inner voice

All of us have access to an unlimited, infinitive source of wisdom, so if you feel yourself stuck in a certain situation, just pause and inter-question yourself, and really ask, is moving forward with this situation or this project, really the right decision for me right now.

But once you ask yourself, you should really sit still, and really listen to hear the answer, its very suttle its like a whisper you really have to tune in, to pay attention.

Another thing, is you might get your answer after a full night sleep, or after you get distracted with another project. In fact, research shows that when you give your subconscious a little break and give it time to process it will come up with the perfect intuitive answer.

4. Pay attention to your visceral reactions

It´s all the physical things that you feel in your body, whenever you considering an important decision, what are the physical sensations, you have to ask yourself, what am I sensing what am I feeling right now, do you feel an immediate sense of dread, is something getting tight in your chest, do you feel tired or do you feel reluctant, on the other hand do you feel a sense of openness or lightness or a sense of relief.

Because intuition lives in your body, not your mind.
