That is great news and I am happy for you. This type of news makes you go forward.
Take special care with asking Amazon if you can be their affiliate. If your website is too young they might say no. If they say yes they expect you to make sales withing a 180-day frame and when that does not happen you are out again.
The best is to wait till your site matures a bit more and you have a decent amount of visitors.
