My progress from the 1st week
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share my progress this far. I signed up for wealthy affiliate one week ago and so far I have achieved writing three posts about business ideas and ways of making money online.
My website is focused on the wealth niche and I have many ideas that will hopefully benefit people to achieve their personal and financial goals.
All of my posts so far are about money making but in the future I am planning to post articles about personal development as well.
The name of the domain that I purchased is wealthanywhere.com. The subtitle that I chose is ‘’Take control of your life’’ because to me wealth is not only about money. There is so much involved in it such as personal growth. What is your opinion? What does wealth mean to you and do you think that the domain name and the subtitle suits the purpose of my website? Please let me know what you think :)
So far I have found the website really entertaining and helpful. I have gotten so into it that I find myself spending almost all day working on my website. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing. I just wanted to ask if the same happens to you.
I am really passionate about my niche and I really hope that my effort will be rewarded in the near future. I am just curious how long time did it take for you to monetize your websites and how much time did you put on it every day or every week?My plans for the future is to continue learning from the lessons here and making my website better and better each day. Wow! You have achieved such a lot in a very short space of time. It is absolutely a good thing if you lose yourself in working on your blog as it doesn't feel like work.
Your website looks great - the only thing I might suggest changing is one of your images in each post to a featured image (once published, just scroll to the bottom of the right hand column and click on 'set featured image' - that way you will get some images on your first page which would be nice. (I have the same theme as you - this is what it looks like https://mytotallifemakeover.com/)

I followed your tip to add featured images but they turn out to be really big. I see that this is the case on your website as well but I would like to make my featured images smaller. Do you know how I can do that?
Thanks so much for your feedback! I have been too slow getting content on, but have a plan to speed up now. I used to be able to change the size of photos but now my editing page has changed completely and shows all of the coding. I will need to ask someone to help lol. (I think you just go into the back end, right click on the photo and click on edit for the options.) Bye for now, Jean
