Feeling discouraged
Hello everyone, I just signed up with WA on March 3rd. I love the challenge it has given me to start my own website. On the 2nd week I signed up with Amazon, started down loading a few items, I was really excted. Well, that bubble has BURST! On March 25th I received a notice from Amazon saying they had to terminate my account due to a new Louisiana tax law. Now I am concerned that if I try another Affiliate, I will hit a brick wall. Right, now feeling like I should cancel my account. I hate given up. But I don't think I can afford to have a website if I have no way of making money. Very frustrated ! Does any have any suggestion?

No, not right. Amazon does this in every state that they have issues with. A few years ago I was affected when they did this time Missouri. Yet now they are building another distribution center in Kansas City. .. go figure. .. lucky for me I have a Texas residence and I just switched over. Well actually they cancelled my affiliate license but allowed me to get another. This is not unusual. But there are thousands of affiliate programs. .. most pay more than Amazon.
Amazon is not the only affiliate program. Try Linkshare, ClickBank, etc. I hope you find a solution to your dilemma.
I just got here. You have an opportunity to be a WA Afiliate which pays $19/ month for every invitee that signs up plus 10's of thousands of other Affiliate programs you and I don 't know about that every one in this community will help you learn how to own your own online business that turns a profit from the first day in.
However. If you just want to give up
because of one No. Isn't that why you're here to succeed against No?

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Someone did already give me two to look into. I really did not want to give up! Just having a bad day

There are many other good affiliate programs out there see if there is something like etsy your way might have something there
