Lest we Forget
We are not here looking for a quick solution to obtain riches, I don't think we would be here if that was our objective, we are aware that we need to work hard to achieve this success.
Within our community we often see blogs and posts of encouragement to those who are struggling, those who need a helping hand, or pointing in the right direction, for those who are writing content while working to produce an authoritative site.
We all have a choice to come here, a choice to make a success of this without the need to invest, or the choice of a small investment for premium to open up the abundance of knowledge from lessons, tutorials, Webinars and more, all with an end result to choose how we wish to live.
11/11/1918 - Armistice Day
Armistice centenary commemoration to mark 100 years since the end of World War 1.
Most of us know about World War 1 from history lessons at school, maybe we have listened to stories told to us by Grandparents and parents of relatives who fought and possibly died in this devastating war. A great possibility as it is suggested that up to 70 Million military personal were mobilized with over 16 million people dying as a result, and around 37 million casualties.
It was known as "The Great War!"
The war to end all Wars
From 1914-1918 it affected not only Europe where the initial conflict started, but also US, Canada, Australia and South Africa. As well as countries as remote and small as Papa New Guinea, Bangladesh, Seyshells and Lesotho, until it ended at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month 1918.
Remembrance
Today Royalty, politicians, veterans, Religious groups and the public gathered at venues across the world to commemorate and remember those who fought, those who were injured and those who lost their lives.
In France President Macron hosted a remembrance service where he addressed up to 70 world leaders, who marched to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier under the Arc de Triumphe in Paris.
In England Queen Elizabeth II watched as the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, laid the sovereigns' wreath at the foot of The Cenotaph in London. Up to 10,000 descendants marched past to show their depth of gratitude to all the men who lost their lives in this devastating war.
For the first time the President of Germany was invited to lay a wreath at the foot of The Cenotaph. For this historic event to take place it shows that we really have come a long way in 100 Years.
At 11h00 GMT 2 minutes silence was observed in honor of those who had lost their lives.
My Father, an ex Royal Marine joined a march in Princetown, Devon to pay his respects, and joining him for the first time was my son who recently moved to the UK.
Gratitude
These young men and women had very little choice. They were called to service to fight for their country and protect their fellow countrymen. They were brave and courageous beyond fault.
While we are building our business we all come across resistance in our path, we are going to faulter and wonder why we are doing this. We read success stories and wonder if we will ever be like those in the community who can shout out about reaching the top of the mountain making a living online.
I am reminded, after watching the centenary commemoration today to think twice before I decide to give up. Feel grateful for the freedom of choice. Appreciate that I live in time and world that allows me to have a choice, one that allows me to travel. One which affords me the chance to build a successful business from home, and most of all, one that allows me the opportunity to grow old.
Don't give up
Keep going
Take the next step - because you have been given the choice!
For the Fallen
They Shall Grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We shall remember them.
