Day 119: Week 17 Progress

Hello there.

I'm back at another day of reporting for the week.

I consistently do this no matter how good or bad my results are, since it's a commitment I've made while staying here at WA.

Back in the day, during my first WA stay, I don't attend to my WA account every day, let alone track my progress. But now that I've known better, it's important for me to become accountable for my actions - to see if it makes any difference.

So shall we proceed?

Week 17 Results

Time to share my results.

Here are the numbers for the entire week (last 7 days):

Exposure Time (Business): 3 hours

Impressions: 469

Clicks: 1

There's not much to talk about when it comes to highlights, except that I'm testing out new means of creating content, like video, text dictation, and the old school paper.

I'm able to draw doodles and diagrams with paper, rapidly produce words with dictation, and discover new insights when I talk on video (even if it's only private). That's why they give me nice ways to diversify my content production (and make the process less boring).

Other than that, I've got nothing to show. No new blog post for this week to prepare for consecutive posts in the succeeding week.

Moving on to my niche, here are the numbers:

Exposure Time (Niche): 3 hours and 12 minutes

But that's just it, I'm dropping the niche time exposure. I think it's better worth sharing somewhere else, like with the people in my niche.

If there's a goal I'm itching to accomplish, that would be convert my reporting into a graph. By using a spreadsheet like Google Sheets, I'd be able to illustrate my exposure times very carefully.

With Search Console, I would just take a screenshot of my dashboard for last week and that's it. No need to spreadsheet it anymore.

Essentially, I plan Week 18 reporting to "go visual". Hopefully I would do it and not procrastinate on it.

My Daily Activity

Exposure Time (Business): 90 minutes

Exposure Time (Niche): 30 minutes

Before I forget, I said that I will stop writing about my daily activity for Week 18. The plan is to track all my metrics on the back-end, then just report them for next week.

This change and the inclusion of graphs would hopefully make the reporting more interesting. But yes, no more niche time reporting because it's still not clear what I'd do with it.

I will still post every day - it's a commitment I've made for accountability. And I'm going to practice scheduling using the new feature at WA.

Okay, so that's going to be it for Week 17.

Keep making progress (no matter how small),

Dominic
