What is your best way to drive traffic to a new site?
With a new site there is little traffic and not much of an audience.
ok, the getting started training will BARELY answer that question, so since no one actually answered it for you, here:
traffic comes to your site through people clicking on links to it or typing it in their browser on purpose.
no one is going to input a new site's url unless someone informs them about it, so the best chance to get traffic is to have links to your site that people will actually click on.
SEO (seach engine optimization) is the process of trying to increase your site's ranking in search engines by adhering to the policies of the search engines (which are designed to prioritize sites that people love or will love). This is the number one way to drive traffic to any site. For new sites in competitive niches this is rather hard.
SO the best ways to get traffic on a new site are to pick a low competition niche OR to post links to your site in places that people are likely to click on them. Great places are social media, niche related forums, and other clever places.
