As far as I know plugins are fairly contrasting with any theme and there are stacks out there that will work, however customised to woo I am not sure. If xrtreme is the better custom looking then go with that and make whatever plugin you want work with a bit of help from some plugin masters.... Sorry probably not helping, trying

I have everything set correctly to my knowledge and I am not receiving email notifications when someone leaves a comment. I am running wordpress 4.2.2.
I would double check spam. Sometimes people leave spam comments, then it goes to email, so your email provider starts seeing Wordpress emails as spam. I set up a gmail filter to prevent this, never sending emails from my domain to the spam folder. Using Gmail Filters to Organize WA Email Notifications
Yes, I have the correct emails in the correct fields but I am still not receiving any emails.

I know that Amazon is convenient because they handle payments, but there are ways to set up your website and process payments that way as well.
WooCommerce is one that I've seen used before, and it includes a payment button, shopping cart, prices, etc. I don't think there's any training on it here, but I'm sure there's a way to get premium support with them (check if there's a premium version of the plugin).
