Success with Jaaxy
Well, being a Brit I am pretty cynical but can be tamed! As part of the Affiliate Bootcamp I wrote and posted on Jaaxy. In doing so I researched some keywords using Jaaxy on Jaaxy - hope you are following this.
'What is Jaaxy' seemed to be a sensible search term so I typed this into Jaaxy keyword research and found the following:-
So it looked as though 'What is Jaaxy' as a title would work. With estimated traffic of 116 visits a month it will not make me a millionaire but a good part of the learning exercise.
I wrote the article and have been away for a few weeks. As an experiment I opened a Chrome incognito browser window and googled 'What is Jaaxy'. There are 14,600 results (yet to work out how this relates to Jaaxy QSR) and my site appeared on the first page, well at the bottom of first page, just after waystoavoidscamsonline.com, which made me smile!
Conclusion:- No matter how cynical you are, do follow the training, persevere and keep a positive outlook, you maybe surprised.

Very Interesting I don't have Jaaxy But when I start getting some income its the top of my list being one of the better Keyword research tools, you obviously understand that - I think I and a lot of members underestimate the power of Jaaxy Keep scribbling Thanks.

To explain the relationship to QSR: that 14,600 is the results when you put the term What is Jaaxy without quotes. If you put quotes around it you'll get around 3820 results. Now if you were to go to the pagination at the bottom where it shows the page numbers that you can click, and you keep on clicking on the last one each time, until there are no more results, you will get close to Jaaxy's QSR number. In your example I came up with 50 results.

Thanks for the explanation. I see that if I put double quotes around "What is Jaaxy" my site is in 5th spot on page 1 of the googled term. But, who googles with double quoted search terms? I think I am missing something fundamental! Still a lot to learn!

Hey David,
People are starting to learn that quoted results leads to better results (or at least it used to - Google's algorithm has gotten more sophisticated). But it can make a difference especially when bidding on keywords in PPC campaigns. The broad keywords (without quotes) will get hit with a lot of various keywords containing "what is" and having nothing to do with Jaaxy. So you'll be paying for untargeted traffic in those instances.
Still, even if you are not involved with PPC it's wise target your pages around your keywords (as you have done) because other search engines are not as sophisticated as Google. So you don't want your pages appearing when someone searches for the term "what is pi", etc.

I think that it is a good idea to record your achievement/steps forward. Each step forward with your business builds upon previous successes. At the end of each week when you review your list of steps forward you will get a smile on your face.
