Don't Stress
Hi,
As some of you will know, i have dabbled with affiliate marketing in the past on a couple of occasions, and on both those times, i approached it the same way... get the website up as quickly as possible and work solidly for 2 days filling the site with (rubbish) content and plenty of affiliate links.
Basically, i had no emotional investment in this project, other than a stressful one. I also wasn't interested in helping anybody apart from myself (to make money). Because of this fact and the stupid notion that this will be turning a profit in a week, i gave up after 2 weeks. Clearly this affiliate thingy doesn't work.
Since joining you guys and gals, i have come to realize that treating your business, yes, as a business, but also a hobby, that you enjoy and take your time over it, and before too long (more than a week), you will see that you are really and truly helping folk and you have a website/blog full of useful, interesting content that has slowly started to make a couple of quid (or bucks, if you live over the pond), and because you are enjoying it, you haven't really noticed that you are 6 months in.
No expectations, No stress. Take your time and enjoy the journey and it will work.
