Motivation from Giving
Have you ever been down and you had the opportunity to do a simple good deed or act of kindness for someone. How did that simple act make you feel? I have no doubt it gave you the boost you needed and put you up there feeling like you were on top of the world.
Giving always brings joy and it can also be a great source of motivation. Just like, with the example above I am sure when you felt elated it also gave you the motivation to do more.
Giving to a charity or helping someone in need are simple ways to get a boost, what about giving our time? Can you spare an hour or two each week to help out in your community? For example, we could volunteer at the local community centre, and there is a multitude of other ways we can help out were needed.
What about within the community here at WA?
Helping others here that are struggling with their website welcoming new members are all, ways that will get those motivational juices flowing. It's amazing how contagious and motivational helping out can be, soon many more will follow your lead and help build a better community.
While being charitable here at WA with members in need is an admirable thing to do, we must remember, it has created frictions and tensions here in the community and Kyle has advised us against this.
Like, the old proverb, you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day or teach him how to catch fish, and he can feed himself and more for life.
The purpose of WA and the community is to help us build a business with an income that can be self-supporting.
Next time you need a bit of motivation why not give and be ready to help out. Like the old saying, there is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.

True happiness is when you are able to give it away.
