Hilarious taxi moment
What a day it was today!!
Running a little late i jumped into the nearest taxi i could find. The taxi driver set the meter and we started rolling!
Usually i don't like to talk when im on a taxi but i noticed that the driver was just too happy and over joyous, it made me curious and so i decided to find out what was causing this excitment.
OH MY!!
Exactly! asking him turned out to be the biggest but most memorable moment i've had in months!! He was an older man with grey hair and he looked very much like a family man. So i was taken aback by the words that came out of his mouth next.
THE CONVERSATION
Me: Why do you seem so happy bro?
Taxi driver: My wife just left me for another man.
Me: That's really sad, why would you be happy about that? and how long were you with her?
Taxi driver: You don't understand. I'm really happy because she was killing me. We were married for 15years and now thankfully im free!!
Me:Well, i don't understand. I thought marriage was a wonderful thing. Why did she leave you anyway?
Taxi driver: She left me coz my manhood was too small for her, i couldn't satisfy her so she cheated on me with another man and decided to stay with him but what she doesn't realize is she just saved me.
Me: Does that mean you will start womanizing now? Is that what you mean by being free?
Taxi driver: No my brother, Aids is real i don't want to fall victim. I have the most powerful tool anyman can ever ask for. My Hand!!!(then he burst into laughter)
I kinda felt sorry for the old man but i figured if he's happy, then thats whats important.
MORAL OF THE STORY
- I learnt that not everybody who goes through a divorce is sad, others are very happy about it(clearly the taxi driver was).
- You can always make yourself happy regardless of what you are going through. There's too much pain in the world don't add more sorrow to it.
- Find your go to place that makes you happy and all negativity will be irrelevant.Also, enjoy what you do. If it is not making you happy then it's best to move on to something else.
P.S the taxi driver is a very nice man who takes care of his two kids.
