What are your expectations from Wealthy Affiliate?
I would like to thank all WA members for connecting with me, showing support and becoming friends.
When you joined WA you joined for a reason. Did you join to advertise your business? Did you join to meet new people and make friends? Did you join to make more money?
Whatever reason you joined WA is your choice and decision.
The reason I joined WA was because a friend told me that this would be the one of the best programs for myself and others to succeed in business.
After joining WA I discovered that I could build websites, get step by step training, and great member support.
What I became to realize is that I had to use my previous experience from another networking community and start building relationships with the members.
Brand Dave Young and not any other programs. I have learn't to over deliver value to people and reply to all messages received and help however I can.
Give the members tips and bits on how to use the platform and be there to support them. WA can be overwhelming at times, however the activities that are required to succeed are listed for you.
What you put into WA is what you can expect from the platform. It takes time to receive the rewards you are expecting, but never quit. If you quit you have no chance of success in WA.

Thanks for the great blog Dave. I joined WA after I saw that I could build websites, but I think I was so overwhelmed at first that I backed right back. I finally worked it out & I like you want to brand myself instead of just a program...

I have a bit of experience with online marketing before joining WA.
But, it can be a lonely adventure so I've joined this platform to be with other fellow entrepreneurs. It's make the journey more agreable and less lonely.

You are right on that building a business can be lonely if you don't have the support of a community. WA offers what every marketer needs. Follow the steps, don't skip and you will be successful.

The reason I joined is purely business. However, I didn't have any business outside of WA so it wasn't for advertising. I joined to create a business from scratch with WA. It seems it has everything you need to create and maintain and achieve any level of success you want, as long as you work smart and are focused. Although people on WA are helpful and supportive, I don't believe real friendships can be formed solely online (that's only my opinion), so my focus here is also NOT on meeting new people and making friends, but purely for the sake of business in a niche that is helpful personally to me as well as others to research and learn more about.
I want to qualify my previous statement that although I don't believe that a person who associate with ONLY online can be considered a "friend", you can of course eventually meet people in person you became acquainted with online and become "friends." In any case, WA offers lots of support, but I think purely business when it comes to WA. I actually learned of WA from an email recommending WA's rival Affiliorama. When I researched Affilorama on the Internet, I then came across Kyle's review/recommendation for WA (which although written by Kyle who's the owner of WA, nevertheless I didn't feel the review was biased).
