My name is Dave and I 'm self-employed. I have a consulting business. I work with people that are struggling in their business. Really, it's just people that have lost their way. They have lost the passion and vision that ultimately inspired them to go out on their own and follow their dreams.
You see what really happens is that they loose their focus. All their time is spent in the daily's of running a business. They spend all their time working in their business. Instead of taking time out to work on their business!
Working in your business as opposed to working on your business are worlds apart. Have you heard the term "you can't see the forest for the trees". Well this is what happens when you spend all your time in the daily's. You need to take time out to rekindle the fire, that created the vision that put you into business. I have a program called "Zero to hero" and we revisit their dream business. Why did they want to go into business for themselves? Was it for more free time (that's a joke)? Or did they want to build a business that their kids could work along side them? Ultimately leaving behind a legacy they could follow. Where they excellent in their field of work and wanted to strike out on their own? And wave at their former employer in the rear view mirror. Or did they have a awesome hobby and they had a itch that just needed to be scratched? For whatever the reason, these brave, wonderful people. Woke up one morning and traded their paycheck for a life of passion!
Wow,I love these people! American free enterprise, that really turns me on. You know what? all my clients are doing, is working in their nitch market (o.k.Kyle, neesh). But unlike the Internet marketer. Their strapped with debt. Brick and mortar buildings, government intervention(Keeping your business up to code), inventory, employee's etc. Yes, your online business isn't free, but come on. Let's get real, you know where the rubber hits the pavement. We got it good, folks.
