One Month In - My Initial Thoughts on an Online Living

It's a funny thing... I've been online for 20 years, yet the thought that I might be able to make a living on the internet only really sunk in a couple of months ago. As I've been learning the ropes of IM, amongst all the feelings of confusion and an overload of information has been the overwhelming sense that I should have done all of this years ago! Still, better late than never. I thought I'd jot down my initial experiences in this new world and see if any of you can relate.

I think more than anything, I'm excited. The idea of building my own business has always been attractive to me, but the reality of building my first website has been nothing short of awesome! The thought of people coming to visit my little corner of the web to learn things and (hopefully) buy something is such a thrill, it has felt like I've been constructing a real life building where people can come to visit me!

That's not to say that it hasn't been hard work. I'm sure you can all relate to the frustration of having to figure out so many new things, sometimes spending an hour or more just trying to dot one little i or cross one little t! And with very little experience to speak of when it comes to computer programming of any kind, building a good, functional site has had quite a steep learning curve.

Content creation has had its challenges as well. Even though I'm passionate about my niche, generating the quantity and quality of content that I've wanted has been a real challenge. I plan to step my work rate up significantly now that my site is (finally!) as I want it to be.

Some other notable experiences have been: the highs and lows of the Warrior Forum (some good advice but SOOOO many scams!), paying a couple of people on Fiverr to write some of the worst articles in history, my computer dying at a terrible moment and finding great, friendly advice at nomorebsreviews.com and Wealthy Affiliate!
