Finally Google Adsense!

Yipeee...finally got accepted by google adsense!

First time around I was rejected as I was making some changes to the design of my site... but yep now with a reasonably crisp modern design and 10 posts (around 1000 words each), that seemed to do the trick!

I think having a design that looks appealing is probably half the battle here...as from google's perspective, who wants to put ads on a site that looks off-putting?

It will be interesting to see how having ads affects traffic (if at all)...

I'm personally of the opinion that a certain amount of advertising gives a site an element of "social proof"... plus I think people are addicted to information these days, so if it appears that your site is a busy happenin' place, I think a few ads can help to create a little more "buzz".. just my 2 cents..

Let's see if it brings a few dollars in :)

Ok now to stage 2 of monetization!
