It’s not about the MONEY – MONEY - MONEY
It's not about the money, money, money. We don't need your money, money, money. We just wanna make the world dance, Forget about the price tag
That catchy tune by Jessie J, is in some way indicative of what this post is all about,
Some people may find that headline a bit “strange”
I mean we signed up with WA to potentially create a better financial future right?
We are all prepared to pay for what we strongly believe is the best platform out there
(Based on value for money / training / support / community engagement / longevity etc)
I do believe that there are many people out there making a very good living out of this,
And I am happy to acknowledge them by saying well done, I am also more than happy to help anyone in any way I can, I am enjoying my time with WA.
Here are my thoughts so far,
I only joined in Nov. 2019 – I had no previous experience in the “Online World ”
I see WA as an opportunity to learn something new, something relevant to today’s world,
But more importantly, as a way of communicating and engaging with people from all around the world,
From all walks of life, regardless of age – gender – race – beliefs, etc
Genuine people who are all looking to get ahead in life, to create a better future, by learning
Not always just for themselves, but for their family, their church, their community, etc,
So thinking about the MONEY – MONEY – MONEY
From what I have learnt and read and researched so far, this is how I see it, ( I can assure you I am a very positive person, the following is NOT criticism)
The process has to flow like this:
1 / Foundation – Find your niche, build a good site, and keep improving it,
2 / Content – There is no doubting content is king, even more so when matched with the right images,
3 / Traffic – Without “Eyes on your site” None of the below can happen,
4 / Engagement – This is vital, when someone visits your site, does it make them feel good,
(ie) Provide them with answers perhaps, show them something new / teach them something, as well as,
Make them not only want to stay a while, but also come back,
5 / Comments – My personal belief is that this important factor is underutilised (Sorry Kyle / Carson),
While I believe in the “pay it forward” process in theory, and I admire people that have the time to participate, and I believe they deserve the "reward"
In practice I think people are missing out,
I think that as part of the WA community when someone follows’s me or vice a versa,
I do personally take the time to read their bio, and if they have an link to view their site / sites,
I Check them out, (Don’t get me wrong, I don’t always mean read the whole site),
But I also use the time checking them out to learn and perhaps get ideas, as to what is possible and discover all the themes and layouts etc,
If they have in my opinion, fulfilled my needs, I would like to be able to comment,
And Engage with them, but I am under the impression that I can’t do that without following the PIF process, please correct me, if I am wrong,
The reality of it to me is that when someone comments on your site, you can decide whether or not you approve it,
Surely as members, we are all capable of doing the right thing by each other,
All you have to remember is that a “comment” is not FEEDBACK about their site,
If you believe you could help them or perhaps give them some tips,
That can be done by a private message,
In reality, you need Comments and Engagement to keep driving traffic, don’t you agree?
That is taught to us as part of the training, it's supposedley great for your SEO,
6 / Sales – Would you buy from someone you don’t know if you can trust yet, all of the above will create trust – over time,
Reviews and comments are deemed to be a major influencer in the buying process,
7 / So if all of the above are happening,
The last piece of the puzzle is MONEY – some would say “The root of all evil”
Everyone would agree, It is certainly a necessity of life,
But Really!!! - It can’t be that important if it’s the LAST piece of the puzzle,
Read the headline again, it's a catchy little tune :)

Great analysis Dave. I say Money is why we are here doing affiliate marketing. However, short of giving money away, in business it is an exchange of product for money.
The business model of affiliate marketing is simple.
- Affiliate attract buyer
- Buyer click on link and buys
- Merchant pays affiliate
All of us are building niches to target and go in search of prospective buyers.
To solve this problem really is about traffic to your site first and foremost.
The internet is a big electronic ocean, we are dependent on Google to direct the targeted fish to us... so we post our baits on Google waiting to get those fishes to bite...
So, really to get to the money, we need to focus on
- traffic, traffic and more traffic
- conversion
- get paid
