Time to say Goodbye
My annual renewal of my WA membership is coming up soon and I have decided that I won't be continuing as a WA member.
It's been an interesting and fun 6 years. I made some good friends here in my early days, built a few nice websites, created several of my own products, set up a joint venture with one of my WA friends and learned lots of digital marketing skills.
I have made some money too but overall the financial return on the time I have invested has been pretty meagre to say the least and I am sad to say that I will be joining the 99% of digital marketers who make little or no significant income from their online business.
To be very clear - none of this is the fault of WA. The training and support here is very good and there are plenty of members who have made a good income from following the WA blueprint. The responsibility for my inability to make it work is entirely mine.
I wish all WA members every success in their business, but from me it's finally time to say farewell.
Dave

Good morning Dave,
I'm sorry that you are leaving Wealthy Affiliate, you will be missed.
It's good that you have been honest about why you are leaving, it's much better than playing the blame game! Maybe we can speak at some point, it's been a long time.
Wishing you all the best.
Have a great day.
Roy
Sorry to see you go Dave
It is a strange thing how someone’s words, even from across a screen, can hit you deep.
I am only a year into this journey myself, but your post really made me pause. I do not even know you, yet I found myself feeling genuinely sad. A dream is a powerful thing. Watching someone step away from it, especially after pouring in so much time and heart, is hard to see. I can only imagine how hard it was to live.
Remember this though, a dream will always stay a dream until you believe in it with your mind, heart, and soul.
I believe we are all on a path. When one path ends, it often means another is ready to begin. One that might be clearer, stronger, and even more true to who you are now.
Whatever comes next for you, I hope it brings you peace, joy, and a renewed spark.
May the sun beam warm upon your face
And may the wind always be at your back
Wishing you all the best
Shawn

Sorry to hear that you are leaving WA, Dave. May all of your future endeavors come to fruition.

Wow, Dave I am sorry too see you go. Being an entrepreneur is a bit of a fight. You got to fight to get started, fight to make progress, fight to get to where you want to be, and fight to stay once you get there. It can be hard and none of us can do it indefinitely.
It's wonderful that you've had success even though it's not as much as you wanted. Sometimes having played the game is enough. I wish you all the best in your next adventure.
