The Power Of Hooks And How To Find Them

There's loads of information out there and probably lots of competition in your chosen niche so it's important to find ways to stand out from the crowd.

One of the most profitable things you can do is scour through your competitors content and adverts and steal the "hooks" they use for your own copy. It's sometimes even better to look in completely different niches to look for hooks that you can tweak for your own business.

For example, here's an ad with a classic hook:

The hook here is obviously "secrets" or "things they don't want you to know".

This hook has been used successfully for many years and can easily be adapted to any niche.

So no matter what niche I'm writing for, I could scan this ad and easily come up with some unique ideas for emails or ads I'm writing...

For example, if I was writing a hook for the dieting market

What "healthy foods" the diet gurus don't tell you are actually keeping you fat.

For the Conspiracy Theory market

What the government doesn't want you to know about their relationship with Big Pharma

For the financial market

What The Fed doesn't want you to know about the future value of your pension.

For the golf market

What your golf society hope you never learn about making six-footers.

For the men's dating market

What women won't tell you about what makes them swipe right

For the digital marketing market

What most gurus won't tell you about how to make money with AI
