Motivational Short Stories
Hey everyone I got this E-mail sent to me earlier today and it totally inspired me today please take a look through or read the whole thing. It really got me going!
" I am going to share something with you today that is very personal to me. As I mentioned in previous emails, I have terrible ADHD and dyslexia.
My writing skills were terrible and I avoided anything to do with it where possible.
When I decided that I was going to share my knowledge, skills and message with the world I had serious self-doubts.
I asked myself. "Can I actually do this? Who is going to listen? Am I just going to get laughed at and fail?".
I am sure you have asked yourself these questions when you considered starting your own business. You likely still are asking yourself these and other similar questions.
That is fine, its normal and it's human. We are conditioned to have caution and to stay in our comfort zone.
However, self-doubt is one of the strongest self-imposed limters we have.
When I was creating my first informational product I did not want to write it. So I decided to create a video and teach the techniques in that instead.
That was avoidance on my part, a limit. However, it lead to another problem. Now I have to stand in front of a camera to introduce this video. Self-doubt creeped in again. "Can I do this? How am I going to be perceived? I hate my voice and accent.., etc"
All of these negatives can push a person from even trying. I overcame it by doing just one thing... IGNORE THEM.
The only way we succeed in life and business is pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zone.
If I said to you right now. Tomorrow I am going to put you on stage in front of 10,000 people and you are going to give a 60-minute presentation, what would your first thought be?
You would likely be thrown into a panic and say "No Way". However, if I said you would get a 10 million dollars for doing it I am sure you would push that voice away and say "What time?".
To break through these barriers we have to realize that these self-doubts are all self-imposed limits we can easily overcome by just pushing ourselves into these situations and making them work.
Self-doubt is usually a protection or fear-based emotion. As an entrepreneur and success seeker your aim is to expand not just your business but who you are as well.
For example, if you stood on stage in front of 10,000 people, and did it often enough, guess what, you will be comfortable.
I forced myself to write more, I forced myself to get in front of the camera, I forced myself to get on the stage and speak in front of 1000s of people. I pushed myself out of my self-doubt and into success. I know you can do the same.
Now, write down your own self-doubts on a piece of paper. This forces you to admit them to yourself and look them square in the eye. Read them, face them and tackle each on of them like they are an enemy to your success.
The next step is to force yourself to overcome each one by putting yourself in an uncomfortable position directly addressing each self-doubt until it becomes comfortable.
I had to do this myself, I learned where my self-doubts were crippling me in my life and my business and tackled them until I no longer had those doubts.
It's a challenging and daunting process but if you tackle your own self-doubts you will be amazed at how freeing this can be and how many new doors and opportunities in life and business will be opened for you."
Hope this helped you all out tell me what you think

You just get up the nerve and start -- at the shallow end.
You gather up the strength, tuff it out and get in, learn to swim.
Then it is not near as hard as at first when you were so afraid or full of doubts.
When you get into the water then you learn some of the techniques -- you grow, develop, get stronger -- and you can tread over into the deeper side soon enough.
The internet is a great equalizer.
Fantastic blog. I to have dyslexia, with all the same doubts. Thank you! You are an inspiration! Judy
This is so true! You never know what you can do until you step out there and try. It is worth the risk when you consider that not doing what you fear is only going to cause you anxiety and self hatred. Push your boundaries and see what your real potential is!
Best wishes,
Christina
You are right !!! From now on, I will do it all, without looking back.
