The Adventure Begins!
I signed up to WA about 1 month ago after reading so many reviews and watching many YouTube videos about it. I had been aware of Affiliate Marketing for some time, but had no idea of how to get started. All I knew is that it sounded like a good idea in theory.
I figured that I would give WA a go as it seemed to cover all the bases in terms of online marketing in general. It was obvious to me that people are making money in the online world and I thought "If they can do it, then why not me?". I have tried countless other opportunities in the past 20-25 years and nothing has ever really come of it, so I was feeling rather jaded by it all. However, something felt different with WA. I think it was the fact that there is such a large community of like-minded people who are all broadly wanting what I want i.e. to create income streams that will supplement a job income or even replace it altogether!
So after watching a video by Eric Cantu and reading his experience after only 16 months of being in WA, I decided that I had nothing to lose. I quickly took advantage of the $19 for first month Premium offer and have patiently been working through the Affiliate Bootcamp training. Initially, I had started the Online Entrepreneur course, but decided I would rather help people to make money online by promoting WA as I felt more comfortable with this idea.
I am traditionally a slow learner and never been a whiz kid with computers/technology, so this has been somewhat of a challenge. Plus, there is so much training available and different ways of asking for help that it has been quite overwhelming at first. I have also recently started a new career as a Train Conductor, so I am going through the 3-month training for that. Therefore, the fact that I can go at my own pace with WA has been perfect for me! I have only just discovered today that there are classes that I can take as part of the training, which I believe will compliment the Affiliate Bootcamp Course - Is this correct? I did say I was a slow learner, lol.
One final note. I was speaking to a friend on the phone earlier and telling him all about WA. Like me, my friend is also sick and tired of working a job that expects way too much of him, and doesn't value him. He has a bit more experience than me when it comes to creating websites etc, but after telling him about some of the benefits of WA, my friend was happy for me to send him my WA affiliate link, and he subsequently signed up for free:-) So that is pretty cool!

Hey Darren, I'm glad that you've found us here at WA! Eric's story is certainly a great one, and by all means achievable by all those here at WA treating the lessons as a real education, and their website as a real business. There is nothing more real than what can be achieved in the online world and it's truly exciting to help so many folks reach out to achieve their goals.
You can do this Darren and so can your friend who has just joined. Follow the training, ask all the questions you need to, and before you know if you will have a website up and running, you'll be publishing content regularly, gaining exposure in the search engines, and generating affiliate revenue from that traffic. Exciting stuff!
