Keyword Failure?
I don't even know what to say. At the beginning of November I researched a topic based on a keyword. On November 7th I published that post, and I happened to think that I did a good job with this post.Today while playing around with Jaaxy I went to google to check on my post. It's nowhere to be found!!! Why??? By the way, the red dot is wrong, I do have the focus keyword in the first paragraph. As you can see I did great, even 'yoast' is impressed. But why am I not ranking??? A post of mine which by the way has a keyword density of zero, absolute zero, is on page 4 on google. What am I doing wrong??? I don't understand how to use keywords???
Anyways, that's my $0.02.- for today.
Cheers,
-Danyel

I'm pretty new to this but it seems as though how well established your site is factors into rankings. That may not be the right way to put it. What I mean by this is: how much content you have published, how much engagement is demonstrated on your site, how many internal links you have, how many other sites link to your site, how many reputable sites you have links to, etc.
Ultimately, search engines are trying to decide how helpful your page will be to whoever is doing the search. If your website has a page with keywords but none of the other factors, it may not be considered as "helpful" as other sites.
Also, keywords in title and content are not the only way to "win at SEO". Semper Fi Web Development has a helpful free download with 5 (often overlooked) tips you should work into your SEO strategy. You can probably find it by looking around the All In One SEO Plugin in your WordPress Dashboard. I hope this helps. Don't get too discouraged!

Hi there if your website is new you can't expect your keywords to rank, they will be indexed but it will take time to get rankings, I would recommend you to keep writing content regularly targeting good keywords, after a couple of months (usually 4 to 6 ) Google will start to understand that your site can be trusted, become most of the sites would be operating for weeks and then give up, that's why Google makes sure only the best results show up for their users, Just follow the training and you will succeed, this community is high quality!
My website is up and running for over a year. Google indexed all my pages, but that's besides the point. Having 2 posts,as an example, one being keyword rich the other isn't. Yet, the keyword rich post is nowhere to be found. On the other hand, the post with no attention to keywords is showing up on page 4 second entry.
How's that possible???
