Gourmet Comfort Food Restaurants here in the Philippines are well known to be the most classy set up of a restaurant. The foods here are expensive and very well plated. The only guests here are the people who can actually avail expensive foods like Politicians, Actors and Actresses, Businessman, Foreigners, and others who has the salary to avail expensive foods. The dishes here are salads like house salad, Ceasar salad, Greek salad, and Nicoise salad. They have pasta like Carbonara, Whole Wheat pasta, Vongole, Mac and Cheese, Bolonese. They also have soups like chicken soup, corn chowder, onion soup. They have crabcakes, poached salmon, osso buco, and a lot more, I work in this kind of restaurant before as a pantry cook. But i found out that in USA, a "comfort food" restaurant is usually a small "mom and pop" cafe. So a Gourmet place doesn't go with comfort food there. So i realize that each in every country there are lots of differences. And i learned that from a friend in the USA. Thank's for reading...
