Site Recovered After August Update - Never Give Up!
Hello folks!
Just wanted to give an update about one of my sites, which is actually 5 years old.
As you can see in the image below traffic was pretty low because of the Google Core update last year, I think it was October.
But now, the August Core update seems to have recovered the lost traffic, and with the content update I am doing now, I suppose traffic will keep returning to the old.
With this post, I wanted to say that you should never give up on your sites, even if Core updates hit them. If you are doing everything taught here in WA, you can't go wrong. Just work and be patient.
If I sold this site or gave up on him, who knows what would happen, BUT I was working on it very hard even if it lost traffic because of the Core update.
Now I'm seeing conversions rising up just as sales and MONEY.
Wish you all the best and never give up!

good to see that you have had a recovery in your traffic. fingers crossed that it continues. i am still pretty new at all of this and my site is only just over a month old so i dont really have much data yet and nothing to compare so its good to see some results that others are getting. thanks for sharing
hello Danijel,
nice that you are seeing a spike as well, but may I remind you this? yeay recovery from Googles update- euh, NO! Has it really 'recovered' from the core update of September 23?
Also, the update isn't over yet ;-)
Getting a bit tired of giving people false hope really, sorry not sorry.
( the spike I'm seeing, I haven't 'followed WA' either, not since the last 2 updates. Been kind of going my own way)

Well, for now, it's recovering in organic traffic but we will see when the update completely finishes, I hope for the best :D
Is it 'recovering' or just a little boost? Maybe there's some language barrier here :-) What I mean is: have you been hit as well in the September '23 update, like I have and an overwhelming amount of people, a majority of people with niche sites.
And if so, is this current "boost" getting you your traffic back from before that update? If it's not, then this is not a 'recovery', just a little cookie from Google to keep you happy.
Am I making money? yes, because of socials, but I would have made so much more money by now if Google didn't hit me with an HCU update in September. Again, like so many others.
(some SEO's are really gaslighting people in saying that they have done this wrong, or that wrong, etc..)
Do you think I have 'recovered' with these graphics?
You might think I'm rude, but I ACTUALLY want to help
Well, one more update like this one and you could go back to normal haha :D At least it's much better than 0, people got completely deindexed and lost entire sites. But I agree, it's Google and we don't know what will happen tomorrow. For now, we should hope that it goes upward :D
Awesome Danijel, congrats! Many members are seeing the same boost from the latest Google update, and this is something that we have seen over and over again. One Google update will adversely impact people (or several), and then subsequent ones when Google fixes their algorithm, they see a boost.
The chart is looking good, nice work!
You can't know this yet, since the update is far from over.
How about also mentioning things that are coming up soon, like SearchGPT, everything is changing in a fast tempo and you guys need to adapt more and quicker sorry!

Yeah I know what you think but people will always look for blogs that are written by humans and not AI, that is why recovery is happening, even Google saw that AI and ''forum'' posts don't deliver as good results as human-written blogs.
Google search was a complete mess all these months, that is why I hope they will bring back normal search.

Hello Danijel,
That's great to hear, Danijel, I hope that the traffic continues to increase again.
Sometimes, I think we just had to carry on regardless of what happened with the Google update. Providing that we are continually producing good content, I believe that things are generally straightened out.
Have a great day.
Roy
You are definitely right my friend! Thank you!
