Http500 Internal Server Error Recovery Completed
I'm so glad that there are so many answers available on the Wealthy Affiliate Community. I was playing with the Functions.php theme file and before you know it, the site is down and I thought OhNo! I haven't backed up anything for over two months! My blood pressure went up and my heart rate quickened. I thought my site was surely doomed!
Luckily, I found that I'm not the only person who encountered this problem and the community responded and suggested using FTP. I haven't used FTP for awhile so, I went through some instructions on that to use Filezilla. Once there, I went to another web-site I had with the original theme function file and transferred to my local drive and then transferred back to the site that I just corrupted. All is fine now. It's great to find all the answers here at my fingertips.

Thanks. This is a great tutorial, although I was looking for anything that said HTTP500 first and didn't think of something as dramatic as the "White Screen of Death", so I didn't find your tutorial at first.
