Free Forever?
I have seen this question come up, and have also seen significant confusion about it.
The basic question is: Can starter members stay free forever?
The answer is two-fold.
Technically, yes. You can remain at the free level forever.
HOWEVER, practically speaking, if you do not upgrade to premium membership, not only is your access to training, chat, etc. restricted after the first seven days, but your siterubix website will be taken down after six months.
It makes no difference whether or not you have been actively working on your website. After six months, if you do not upgrade to premium, WA will no longer host your site. If you haven't moved it elsewhere, it is gone.
I have seen it happen to someone I know... that's how I know.
So, with the restrictions after your first 7 days, and the loss of your website after 6 months, there isn't a whole lot of benefit left after the 6 months are up.
I hope we are being careful to communicate this to new and potential WA members.
It's great to be able to check out everything on WA for seven days and to be able to work on a website for six months. But people need to know that the most important parts of WA are not free forever.

I agree with what you have said, Danette.
It is necessary to communicate this to your referral.
Thanks for sharing.
Yes that is the situation - and a very fair one too.
WA cannot be expected to host sites for free forever.
I know money is tight for most but trying the platform for $19.00 for the first month and $49.00 PM for a second and subsequent months should give anyone a very good indication if this is for them or not.
So basically for $68.00 you get the keys to the castle and free option to walk out the gate.
It's not Hotel California ...
You can check out and leave anytime you like.
I just don't understand why some do but that's another story.

Thanks Danette,
I never knew about the six month rule.
You're welcome, Juliet. It was a surprise to me when I found out and actually saw it happen. So I wanted to let others know.
