Four months in and first sale!
I'm slightly late with updating on my progress but things have been busy and I had much needed short vacation.
I did some cleaning up of my results in Google analytics, removing spam and traffic junk based on this tutorial: https://www.ohow.co/ultimate-guide-to-removing-irr... because I've seen a bit of weird traffic. This cleaned it up and I have much more accurate results, even though they are less than the month before. That is to be expected though.
Month four stats:
- 3 new posts, 23 in total
- 7 new comments, 45 in total
- 151 sessions, 143 users, 218 page views, bounce rate 80,13%
- 104 organic search
- no sales
I know that the title says first sale and yet I list it as no sales. That's because the first sale came in yesterday and I didn't want to spam two blogs.
I checked my Amazon account this morning and couldn't believe my eyes! I saw that I had 3 products ordered, two of which were related to the topic of my post. I'm beyond ecstatic. Not sure how much I earned (if anything), it still shows $0 commission. From what I can calculate from the prices of the products ordered, I might be looking at a little over $2! Yes, it's not a lot but it's a start!
