I was scammed

Well, not real happy, just before I joined WA I had seen a site on facebook that was offering to help trading the stock market and going through a program that had been developed called his "Super Trader Formula".

I went through the procedure and was called by the guy and then read the contract on email and it said if at the end of 6 months if I was not happy with the training and formula I would receive my money back.

During the 6 months I could not get the idea of what was going on and the guy was not contacting me as he had said so just before 6 months was up I asked for my money back at which time I got an email saying when time was up it would happen.

At 6 months, I emailed and said give my money back and gave my account details to put in, it did not come so I ran him and he said my emails had been going to junk but now would get money back to me, after this still did not happen so I ran again and he gave my account number with the last number wrong (my bank said it would have gone straight back to him), he said he would correct it and it would come through.

It has not come through and he will not answer any of my calls now.

I am not sure what to do next, I have gone to his web page and he has made it so I can not post there, I have reported the site on Facebook as a scam, I have reported him to the ACCC.

Now, if anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear what I can do next.

Wow, this whole thing really stinks. I'm afraid you don't have much choice except to cut your losses and press on with your new (and much more honest) career. I am very new here, but as I am learning
the "ins and outs" of WA, I have a really warm and fuzzy feeling about it. Can't really say why, except I am a very logical person, and the steps outlined in this training are very logically put together. Don't give up, and don't feel you've wasted any money. MAKE THE GLASS HALF FULL!

Thanks for the feedback, I am very happy to know that at least now I have found a very good site that will not let me get scammed again, thank you WA community for just being here.

Sorry to hear about this Damian, this is all too commonplace on the Internet these days and we have spent the last 10 years fighting an uphill battle within an industry of scammers and self defined gurus.

The best thing you can do here is to contact your credit card and let them know about the issue. Perhaps they can help you recover the money here, in particular if you can provide proof of the 6 month guarantee that is offered.

I wish you all the best and I promise you that now that you have found WA, you will never be scammed again. :)

Get a close friend to sign up then have them post on his site and blow his scam wide open! Even if he removes the post maybe it will be up long enough to make him lose a considerable amount of money!

Say goodbye to your money and go on. I know, it's not fair and it's not easy to let it go just like that, but unfortunately there's not much more you can do.

I am so sorry! Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions other than what you have already done. I get so angry when I hear about all the dishonesty out there. I wish you all the best as you work to get this straightened out. "May the Force be with you" we are kind of a nerdy family.
