They Never Cease To Amaze Me
This being my first blog post ever I thought I would recount an experience I had before finding WA.
I work 50+ hours a week as a mechanic. I've always looked for ways to make extra cash when I had the free time. After hours of looking at recruiter sites and online job listings something came across my screen that interested me. Since I knew someone many years ago that did this and was able to make extra cash I thought it would be a lucrative way to supplement my income.
Envelope Stuffing! The add seemed so tantelizing. "Make money in your spare time just stuffing envelopes with other companys' ads." Sure why not. I have free time. I started looking at the information and it seemed legit. So I entered in my email and mailing information.
It took me to another screen where it congratulated me! Wait a minute. I haven't done anything yet. Now it seems odd, but I was still curious. As we all know, curiosity can lead to bad decisions. I continued to read the information. It told me I would be sent a packet of ads and envelopes accompanied by a list of recipients....If they could be sure I was serious.
Now things are heading down the scam road. Still curious as to how far this rabbit hole went I proceeded. The site said in order to make sure I was serious I had to make a one time payment of $10.00. Upon completion I would recieve confirmation of my order and be sent the introductory packet.
Of course I knew this was a scam, but I still wondered what they would actually send me, so I continued. I used a prepaid visa card and made the transaction. I was then rediredcted to another site which told me they would gigve me even more recipients if I paid the low price of $49.95. Now we're getting into my spending money. You aren't that clever. I exited that window.
Much to my suprise The next day I did recieve a confirmation email for my "order" and a confirmation number. The site said it would take 7-10 days to recieve my packet, so I waited. It took about 5 days and I recieved a single envelope from the site.
Upon opening it I was met with more "Congratulations!" and second piece of paper stating that all I had to do to make loads of money was send the second and fourth recipient on this paper $10.00 each and I would get my own special sheet of paper just like this one, but with my name in the second and fourth recipient spot. How could it be easier!?
I looked up the name in both spots and this guy is a known scammer. I read review after review of this guys many scams and he truely has no moral compass. One of the reviews I read about this man was by J-KWest. Who lead me to WA and the incredible community I have since become a part of. You really made a difference in my life.
Thank you Jay,
John-Paul

Sounds like it was well worth the $10 you originally paid. Funny how things we see as bad can often turn out to be the best moments in our lives.
For me it was a very bad relationship that took me across the country only to find my best friend and sole mate. 20years on and I am so grateful for that relationship. Without it I would not be living my perfect life with my perfect partner.
Thats great you have found WA. Only last week whilst trying to find a job opportunity to go alongside working on my websites. I found a delivering leaflets job and there were some odd things. Anyway I eventually did some research and the company had renamed itself many times and they had not paid people their money for delivering. I am so pleased I did my research and did not go any further with the scammers. Wealthy Affiliate is the real deal, but it's unbelievable how some of these scammers get away with it. Like the delivery job being able to advertise on a job website.
What I find amazing is they will actually make their own Job Websites to list these on and get them on google and Youtube.
