Hey Dallin. Did you ever find a BuddyPress alternative?

Right now, I'm playing around with Peepso..... https://wordpress.org/plugins/peepso-core/

It comes from the owner of JomSocial, which is a popular social networking extension for Joomla. IMO, that bodes well for a long future and decent support.

To get the most functionality out of it, you would have to pick up some commercial plugins they offer, but to get a basic social network up and running, it looks like it might be a good alternative to BP.

It also looks like Ultimate Member is highly rated... https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-member/

Hey man, hope you're well. I found this one below which isn't too bad- I've got it running on my site and wasn't very difficult to set up. Hope this helps. - Will

Hello,

Personally, I use (very light weight):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/getsocial/

But in general this one is considered "the best social plugin":

Grtz,
Bert

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I'm not meaning social media sharing buttons. I am meaning on site interactions. User registration and account, profiles, etc.

I think you need this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/capability-manager-enhanced/

Recommended for User management on a site....

I am trying to show a company that I can help them advertise their products, but they don't have an affiliate program. They want to track how many inquiries/orders come from my

Dallin, how would users get to the company from your website? IF you're using a link, you can use a link shortener such as Pretty Link Lite OR https://goo.gl/

Have this link directed toward the company website.

Every time a website visitor to YOUR site uses this link, it will be reflected within the link shortener as they track the number of clicks.

As long as you don't have to prove where the clicks came from..... country or IP address.

You can also embed this link within an image. (better click through rates)
