Hey, my names Dale & welcome to my WA profile.

For me, generating a full-time income online was always a dream but I never thought it would be possible for me to actually achieve it.

Anyway, to cut a long story short it turns out that it was!

Thanks to affiliate marketing I've been able to leave my job as an electrician & now I do this "internet marketing thing" full-time, working remotely from literally wherever I can grab an internet connection.

Whilst it didn't happen overnight it's quite crazy that it happened at all - considering that back when I first started out I'd never even heard of affiliate marketing before.

It just shows that as long as you dedicate yourself literally anything is possible regardless of who you are or what background you've come from.

I love being a part of the Wealthy Affiliate community, the people here are so friendly & it's great seeing new members joining & finding success online.

Hi Dale,
I am in the money making lesson. I just read the customer life cycle article. I am suppose to write an article using one key word. I have no products or affiliate things on my site. Is this article just for information? or should it be geared toward a product or service?

It's entirely up to you. Even without affiliation you can still write about a product, you could just then later go back & add the affiliate link once you become affiliated. Alternatively even if you can't get an affiliate link for that particular product you can then simply use it to say "why not check out this other product instead" (which you are affiliated with).

Hi Dale,

I hope you're good. I wondered if you could help me. I have moved my site over to my own domain and when someone clock on the URL a security warning message comes up. Do you know why this is and how it can be resolved?
here is the link www.hijabhaven.com

Many Thanks,

Ranya

You just need to enable SSL - go to Websites (left hand menu) click Site Manager, click "Details" next to your site & then make sure SiteSSL (HTTPS) is set to ON.

Hi Ranya, complete newbie here but really like the niche you chose and I find it very interesting and surely useful for a lot of women out there! One thing I noticed when reading your last article about how to dress at the beach was how easy it was to read through it without noticing your affiliate links. Is there any way you can also include them in the bold brand names? Maybe also a sort of conclusion at the end with all the links could be quite useful? Just my 2 cents as a newbie on WA :)

Have a great day!

Jules

Hi Jules,

Thanks so much for your feedback its really encouraging. Im glad that you have reached out because I was worried that I picked the wrong niche in terms of earning potential, and was thinking about parking it aside and selecting a new one. But I do enjoy writing content on this topic.

So the links to the pages are not affiliate links yet as some of the shops dont have programs to join where some others do. I have applied to afew and im just waiting to get approved do I can stick those links EVERYWHERE! LOL

I am a newbie too by the way i joined afew days ago. How are you finding your experience so far? Have you picked a niche yet?

Thanks again for your feedback it really is so much appreciated!

Hi Dale, this all came upon me very suddenly, but I know it is what I was praying for and so much more!! I never expected there are people and a platform out there, willing eagerly to embrace and teach, support and help others! I just need to get used to the idea that everything I have been wanting for so long, is at my fingertips at last!! (I couldn't sleep last night,my head was absolutely buzzzzing!!) I will start training tomorrow and a (hopefully) clearer head...

Hi Dale. I just following the training step by step. Thes instructions are very clear. I like it. I hope thing will still easy. I have to choose a niche and I hesitate between a niche around organized a kitchen or a niche about knitting. Can these subjects be carriers?

The kitchen related niche sounds like a good idea - I know kitchen knives on its own can be a good niche as there are some very expensive knife sets out there... But there are many areas you can delve into in the kitchen :)
