I have been doing yoga every day for almost a month, and then a few times a week for months and casually for years, hahaha!

That was kind of a mouthful, so I am going to move on.

I know yoga may seem like just a trend these days to some of you, but I can attest that it has benefits that everyone can experience, even if they just tried it for a week.

Here are a few awesome benefits I have gotten out of doing Yoga daily...

1. Opens airways and helps with breathing through the nose.

2. Stretches muscles and eliminates body pains.

3. Feeling more energy!

4. Builds confidence.

5. Flexibility.

6. Great for toning!

So, even if you don't want to go to a studio. I use the Asana Rebel app for my yoga routines. YogaDaily is a good one as well. Just try it for one week, and I guarantee you will feel at least a couple of these benefits. =)

You have made me think, that's always good in my case! It's the getting down.....that intimidates me and the aweful getting up.

I believe Gaia website has a whole section on Yoga which I've heard is really good.

As for what exercise I do lately, yoga is a must. I do mostly bodyweight or weight vest exercises, and something called anabolic running. I am a former high school swimmer and soccer player, and did triathlons and distance running later in life. Nowadays I tend to do intervals such as quarter mile sprints x4, the thirty seconds to a minute of 3-5 different calisthenic exercises as fast and intense as possible. This has been found to increase testosterone, where they are finding that long distance cardio can rob you of testosterone as well as hammers the joints. In my advanced age this is an issue haha. I’m also a big rock climber, so that helps physical fitness as well!

I attended my first Yoga class a few years ago; I made the mistake that it would be easy breezy! There was probably enough sweat that had dripped on the floor to fill up 2 cups! It's much more difficult than it appears because the amount of strength that's needed, so I have much respect for you, Kylie!

I gave myself a mental challenge last year that I was consistent with every month; perhaps it's time to make Yoga my physical challenge!

I also do some yoga if stretching can be considered that. Joined a gym as well. Started easy and working through my system. It may not be perfect, but Its mine. I agree with your post totally, I've done yoga before and had all those benefits, but things change and we must develop our resistance to external events from getting us distracted from where we want to be. Thank you great post.

It is so so so easy to get distracted for sure!!! I have finally in the last couple months really dedicated myself.

Sit down and standing exercises are involved. It's Jupiter gravity when you finish. But only for awhile

I am not saying you are promoting it - just saying that it is niche related whether it is your niche or not and not related to online marketing:-) It is the same as if people post cooking recipes or anything else here - it might be helpful but you can say that about a lot of things, and the main purpose here is to get help to build an online business. If too many post like that was allowed here, it would be difficult to find the ones about online business. But of course a matter of interpretation:-)

I love yoga and have been doing it off and on for several years. I use an app called down dog currently. Excellent work for the body, yoga!

I haven't heard of it! I do have an Android though. =)

It works on Android as well as IOS. I like it because it lets you choose levels of difficulty, time, and builds each flow for you. It vocally walks you through the flow as well. You should check it out!

30 days of yoga with Adriene is also good and it's free.

I have watched hers as well! She is great! =) I just like apps that keep track of my time spent and programs completed and whatnot... Makes me feel good about myself.
