Here's a Tool to Help You Stay on Top of Time
Stay on top of time. Man, that has a nice ring to it; I just ache all over because I can't literally make it be so.
Anyway, To be successful, you need to know where your time is going to go, where it went. Do you keep a close watch on time? Do you have a schedule, like in school? From 9-10 geometry, I mean article writing. From 10-11 research keywords. And so on. And if you do, do you stick to it? Do you have a little timer that goes off when you're due to move to the next step.
If you're concerned about where time goes and want a tool to help you with that,
www.toggl.com
is the thing for you. Not perfect, you still have to click start and stop, but it remembers what you do, so at the end of the day, or week, you can look back and figure out where you're wasting.

I have a hard time with calendars and scheduling programs. I don't know why but I keep forgetting to look at them.
Toggl works for me because it's a tab on my browser that has the name of the activity I started tracking. Answering this comment falls under email. A short while ago, the tab said, 'article on website design.'
It just jumped at me. I had to make it stop saying 'article on website design.'
I do like the tab idea. It's what I would prefer if I could find a way to have a series of them come up when they are supposed to, signaling the start of the next session.
I have set up scheduling systems based on an old high school schedule of classes. I found that to work very well ...if sticking to it is consistent. There are many, many things that can hinder the effort.
I have been in search of a way to cause a small tab to come up in the usual place right bottom. Each would be accompanied by a chime. It would be a standalone component working in hand with Google Calendar. I found GC to be highly modifiable. I have it set at some pretty strange times of 48 minute sessions.
I'm sure, after I've seen the wabinar I will be making changes to the schedule and this is part of my business system. There's some things from the notes that I need to develop and implement.
