Downloaded Thesis....now my site is down.

So, I decided that I wanted to download thesis and change the appearance of my website. Now I can't access my website and am waiting for the situation to be fixed via WA techs. I probably should have familiarized myself with the process of downloading themes and uploading them to your site.

Now my website is down, for God knows how many days and I will not be able to get my daughter's information out to the public. Facebook friends were already sharing the site with their friends and now the site is down. Ugh...sorry just needing to vent.

So I finally downloaded filezilla, and took a look around to familiarize myself. I looked over where the themes were and did not see a "disable" function. If this were to happen again in the future, would I just right click the theme and "delete"? How did you manage to get my site up and running again? Sorry for the questions, but I dont ever want to run into a situation where I can't fix the issue myself. Thanks.
