I have been in IT for the past twenty years, supporting desktops, servers, and networks. After being denied a new position because, and I'm quoting now, "It would cost us more to replace you," I decided I no longer wanted to depend employers and bosses.
I would like to make this a full time business, eventually helping others do the same thing.
Cyberkenpo's Goals 3
At first I thought I would be happy earning $5k a month, but that;s barely more than I make at my day job. Since I want to replace that job AND be able to do other things, I am going to say $7k a month will make me happy. I will be ecstatic at $15k a month. It may sound silly, but that is the number my older brother said would make him stop and take this seriously. Starting out, I don't think I can invest more than 4 hours a day, but weekends will be more. Eventually, I would like to make a full time job doing this between 6 to 8 hours a day.
