Starting Over
At first, I thought I was the only one who would be doing this - starting over. However a quick look with the Search Bar tells me I am not alone.
So what's going on? When I first started the Affiliate Bootcamp, I tried to use a domain name I already bought and then tried to force a theme to fit in it. I like the name Tek Maven, but I just wans't connecting with any of the themes.
So I started thinking about what I would choose to do if I didn't have anything. I went over to the discussion on picking a domain name and looked at the different ideas to see if something would spark. But I wanted it to spark with me; I wanted it to be personal.
I remembered how Pribs commented on my intro, about how my employer said you can't have this promotion because it would cost to much to replace me. I thought about how I left that company and everything that I did after that. I think that is my story.
I started out looking for different work at home ideas. In fact this whole thing is about me not working for someone else, and working from home. So I chose a new domain name, and started setting up the new site. I am going to go through the lessons step ny step again this weekend, to make sure I haven't left anything out.
And my new domain name.... workfromhomechronicle.com

Don't get discouraged. Take it slow and steady. It takes a while before your website starts to look like something to be proud of. I not only started over, but revamped my current website several times over.
I've started over a few times. I've changed niches a few times too. It took awhile to find something that I was so passionate about that I WANTED to write about it all the time. I still haven't made any money off it yet, but it's more for fun now. You're definitely not alone! I think personal is always better, I hate going to a website and it looking like an advertisement. Good luck!
Once you get your feet wet you think about things very different things start to get clearer and you see more how it all works. It is no big to start over. Now go and go strong. ; O)
