I Wonder, Can Introverts Find Success Here?
I'm introverted and a doer by nature. I know I have to constantly create content for my site but I find blogging on this platform to be onerous. I know it's one of the ways to promote myself and my blog, but I find it extremely challenging.
I interact and offer assistance to people via PM but I wouldn't receive "credit" for doing so because it's privately done. I know I have to overcome my innate nature but it just feels like yet another burden I have to overcome and that sucks.
Just venting. Thanks for reading.

Introverts do very well online.
Your website is by far the most important place to place your time. If blogging here on WA is too stressful, don't. Many of our most successful members rarely post WA blogs. They only do so if they have something to say that will help others.
If you are going to stress yourself promoting your blog, doing it on YouTube, Facebook, Pintrest, Instagram may be more beneficial. Figure out which one will work the best for your niche.
At the same time, I suggest you continue to read other people's blog posts as time permits because they can be very educational.
Best wishes!
Thank you Sondra, I think I'll do just that. I'll focus on creating the best content I can for my site and not worry so much about blogging on here.
Cheers,
Dawn
I'm right there with ya. You'll notice there is no picture of me on my profile. I'm a terrible introvert and I not only find blogging difficult, I struggle with engaging in conversations at all. Chatting, communicating, commenting are all encouraged here but it's really difficult for me.
I see it's value in this online world so I'm just going to try it. I feel a bit more anonymous with my generic profile pic for now. Maybe that will change as I move along.
Is there success in this online world for introverts like us? I don't know, but there is only one way to find out.
By the way, this is the first thing I've posted.
Good luck to us both. I'm glad to know you're there.
Look at that! I was just venting and I actually met a kindred spirit as a result. That's king of awesome. You understand me completely and I too am glad to know you're there.
Let me know if I can help you with anything here on WA.
Cheers,
Dawn
