Amazon Associates Reject Me Again(Reason: promotes support through the use of your links)

Hello everyone,

This time is the third time rejected by Amazon. Actually, I'm very calm because I believe the accumulated failure will result in success in the future.

The more failure I have now, the strongest I am in the future.

The reason this time is "promotes support through the use of your links".

I have asked Amazon. They give me one of my posts that I violated this rule. But, inside the post, I didn't ask any people to click the link or click the button.

The most suspicious is I make some links that link people to Amazon if they click it.

For example, "It features a 2-in-1 extraction patent system that’s compatible with K-Cup and ground coffee."

I link "K-Cup" with my affiliate link.

Is this violate the rule "promotes support through the use of your links"?

If what I did cause "promotes support through the use of your links", that means I cannot link the text directly to Amazon? The only way is through the button or image?

Inside my post, I only have an image from SiteStripe and the button that link to Amazon.

I read the Associates Program Operating Agreement a few time. Maybe my English is too bad to understand the agreement.

I still have no idea of "promotes support through the use of your links".

Does anyone have the same situation before? Please share to everyone.

Thank you so much.

Hello CT, I wasn't rejected by Amazon but Google wouldn't allow me to use Adsense on my post because my blogs consist of health-related issues. Was quite disappointed at the time, but that too shall pass. We will just have to pick ourselves up and move on. Growing up my parents would frequently say to me, "if it doesn't kill you, it will make you stronger"

That is good information...glad you asked the question. I will have to be careful how I word my Amazon disclaimers.

Hi - this is the offending phrase if you have it in your affiliate disclosure "each of your purchases via our Amazon affiliation links supports our cause at no additional cost to you."

As Marion says - you have to use the exact words in their agreement. You cannot mention "support".

I presume you have a section within it called Amazon Affiliate Links? You need to remove that and replace it with the phrase which Marion has shown you in her screenshot.

"As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases".

If you are going to re-apply, don't forget to change all your links. Also check you are not breaking any of their other rules, such as not copying product descriptions, reviews or star ratings, not adding the price and only using the 1 image they supply you with.

Amazon is very strict about the wording used to identify yourself as an Associate. Don't use any words except those in their agreement when you tell people you are using affiliate links. Check your Affiliate Disclosure page.

Hi sorry I cannot help you, but I am following your blog to see what answers you are given. Hopefully someone will be able to help you, as I am doing a similar type of linking to you, so interested to see any answers you get.
I hope you manage to sort this out.
Denise.
