Just made my jump to premium!
So I just made the jump to premium and really looking forward to learning more from the community. I have not been this excited about about working in a very long time and this is a breath of fresh air. After being in retail management for 20 years, I have become very burned out from the stress that goes with the territory. I had a quote that happiness was seeing my job in my rear view mirror. Well as luck would have it my store closed down and I chose not to relocate and stay with the company, and I could not be happier as this has forced me to change my direction. I am currently seeking to get a job in the accounting field that I have a degree in and that has been quite the challenge. But my goal really in life, especially now, is to not have a job in the traditional sense, but be able to be financially independent by merging my passions into a successful career. On my own terms (with of course the help from the wonderful people I have met on WA already). So here I am! At a new, exciting chapter in my life and I cannot wait to meet and connect with you all and hear your inspiring stories! Thank you all so much!

Glad to be getting to know someone who came in to this around the same time I did. I just submitted an application this afternoon for a position locally, but I'd really love to "not have a job in the traditional sense" like you mentioned. Thanks for sharing - :)
