First Thought about Wealthy Affiliate - Another Internet Scam

I came across Wealthy Affiliate (WA) because like many of you I am tired of not having time to do the things I love to do and more importantly I have that entrepreneurial spirit. I cannot stand going to work thinking, I can do this job by myself without having to make peanuts. So one night I am searching for ways to get my own business started. Well tracking back to roughly year ago, I coached a player whose brother was about 2 years into affiliate marketing. He explained to me that after getting past the learning curve you could really do well for yourself.

So as I am searching the internet, I come across a review about internet affiliate marketing. My first thoughts, "I don't know how to create a website, What does SEO even mean, I understand how it works but seems like a ton of work before I can even get remotely started" and so on. As I continued reading this typical internet review about how I can make thousands of dollars each month with this simple easy task. NOTE: (This was a review about WA, and to be honest ,had it been for the fact that I was already half way through the review, I probably would have left.)

Anyway, I continued reading and near the end it states, "you will learn everything you need to know about creating a website and SEO with step-by-step guidance from the founders of WA." This is what grabbed my attention because like the old saying goes:

"Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime."

I was intrigued by WA now and began researching everything I could about them, even taking them up on their free starter membership. Low and behold, I took the risk to believe something to be true on the internet and a week and half later, I have a full active website with ads and traffic slowly making their way to the site. Essentially the creators of WA stood by their word, and their educational courses and it has paid off none the less. Even if my site fails at this point, I now know how to create, produce, develop a website and drive traffic to it using SEO.

WA is not a get rich quick scheme, it is more like taking a college level IT course on web-development and entrepreneurship. You will also learn about marketing your website using social medias and networking through WA. I definitely recommend this site as well as premium membership (yes, it will cost you some money).

What you get out of your investment though will last you a life-time and in an era where technology has practically taken over people's lives. It is a route worth taking if you are wanting to start a business, blog, e-commerce store, or anything dealing with the internet.

I hope you enjoyed this review and it helps with a decision you may be struggling with. One piece of advice, anything you seek on the web if you're looking for ways to make money. Well it takes money to make money - so be prepared to make an investment on any educational, service, or business venture you are looking into.
